Building ShopCall: Industrial IoT Communication for Construction Sites

Current Status: Prototype Phase - Learning ESP32 wireless communication

The Problem

On construction sites, electricians and workers waste 15-30 minutes per day walking around looking for supervisors, materials, or assistance. This adds up to lost productivity and increased costs.

The Solution: ShopCall

ShopCall is a wireless call button system using ESP32 microcontrollers:

Red Button: Emergency/Safety
Yellow Button: Materials Needed
Blue Button: Maintenance/Tools
Green Button: Quality Check

Workers press a button → Supervisors get instant notification on their phone.
